In 1997, construction of the Ena Plant with Japan's highest-level cleanroom and coating line was completed in the Ena Techno Park. In 2001 and 2004, leading edge machinery was installed to expand production. And in 2007, the Mizunami Plant was constructed (Stage 1) for the mass production of optical-quality film products for the flat-panel display (FPD) market. Production at the Mizunami Plant is undergoing expansion to respond to the increasing demand.
